August 2022 Announcements:

After a summer hiatus, Unboxing Tomorrow videos will resume, starting with an unboxing of the PINE64 Pine Phone. The PINE64 projects are an extensive line of Linux-based, open-source consumer electronics; and there would be no way to do it justice without a video unboxing.

The custom drone project is also still in progress. The latest iteration focuses on the navigation/communications subsystem. In order to determine its position, the drone can optionally use the global positioning system (GPS) or a variety of other Global navigation satellite systems (GNSSs). Unlike the motor control subsystems, the navigation/communications board uses a 32-bit Arm Cortex M0+ processor. As a result, many project header files had to be ported from 8-bit AVR to 32-bit Arm.

I’m happy to announce Unboxing Tomorrow has joined BuyMeACoffee.com. Like Unboxing Tomorrow’s Patreon page, this is an option for fans to donate small amounts to help this blog deliver more project.
