Major changes are on the horizon here. After some serious consideration, I’ve decided to split the Unboxing Tomorrow blog into technical and conversational channels. This change will impact the Unboxing Tomorrow YouTube channel and other social media pages, but not this website.
Why the Split?
After operating this blog for 4 years, I’ve noticed a shrinking audience interest in thoroughly hardware-oriented engineering practices and ideas. While this isn’t happening everywhere, I believe it indicates a broader trend away from circuit design-related subjects this blog is known for.
What to Expect
Unboxing Tomorrow’s current presence on social media outlets like Minds, YouTube, and X (formerly Twitter) will continue to discuss electronics, robotics, and communications systems; but it will shift to shift toward more conversational, unscripted formats with fewer step-by-step tutorials.
Meanwhile, new channels will be created to host tutorials in Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Atmel AVR, RISC-V, and Pine64-related projects. These channels will be geared toward engineers and developers looking to create systems that are not readily available.
Stay Posted
As usual, I am posting all updates early on the decentralized social networks: Minds.com and Odysee.com.
